Newsletter Redesign

One of the projects I took over as an employee for the city was a redesign and rebrand of the employee newsletter. The previous employee newsletter, Working on Wellness, had too much content and was outdated. Noticing that my fellow employees were uninformed of projects and happenings in the city, I suggested reworking the employee newsletter to put a better focus on big city news, events, and projects. I also redesigned the newsletter to be brighter, easier to read, and have a bigger focus on images.

There was no way to track readership before. I implemented using for our newsletters so we could get statistics on our newsletter.

Stats for the first two newsletters include:

  • 1,808 impressions
  • Average read time: 4 minutes
